Davies High School
Davies High School building construction lasted nearly three years. On August 21, 2011, amid several days of fanfare and public events, the new building opened to students and the community.
Davies is one of Fargo's more recent communities. The area takes its name from Davies High School, which entered service in 2011, named after Judge Ronald Davies – known for playing a significant role in the Civil Rights Movement. Primarily residential, the neighborhood features Eagle Valley, Eagle Pointe, Golden Valley and Crofton Coves as its main subdivisions. There is also a large water retention pond in Eagle Pointe that offers activities such as kayaking and fishing. Pre-existing and newly built houses are available throughout the district. Round Hill lies to the south while Briarwood is situated to the east.
Children in the Davies neighborhood who attend public schools will attend Bennett Elementary School, Discovery Middle School, and Davies High School.
