Reile's Acres History

Reile's Acres is named after the owner of a farmstead on the site, Reinhold Reile. Incorporation evolved because Reed Township wasn't able to handle to costs of the road maintenance in the small heavily populated community of 31 homes just North of Fargo. Obtaining state and federal funds as well as tax money to maintain streets would come through if the community went through the incorporation process. In 1977, Cass County Commission granted incorporation of Reile's Acres.
