A new season is a great excuse to refresh and update your space—and summer is no exception. And if you want your updates to be visible as soon as you walk in the door, a great place to focus? Your foyer.
A recent article from realtor.com outlined summer-friendly design tips to freshen up your entryway this season, including:
- Floor them with florals. If you want to add a touch of summer to your foyer, try adding some florals—floral wallpaper, that is! A floral accent wall can be a great way to add a summery visual punch to your entryway. (Or, if you really want to be bold, wallpaper the entire space!)
- Summer blues and whites. A blue and white color palette has a distinctly summer (even nautical) feel—making it the perfect choice for your entryway. Try white paint and furniture—and then finish the look with blue accents. (And don’t be afraid to play with patterns!)
- A gold table. You want your entryway to match the look and feel of the rest of your home—so if art deco is your style, consider jazzing up your foyer this summer with a gold entryway table.
